About me

About me

"Happiness requires courage!" I've stuck to this sentence for many years, and I'm always facing new challenges. However, after two heavy blows of fate, I no longer just needed courage - but also an outlet to deal with what had happened positively.

Even as a little girl, my grandfather showed me the world of art. Through him, I enjoyed painting and developed a feeling for colours and techniques. But as is unfortunately often the case, everyday life with a job stood in the way of art at some point.

I have been running an installation company in Munich with my husband for several years.

When I started painting, I could breathe again after a long time. To me, abstract art is a form of self-therapy, in which I can let my thoughts and emotions run free.

I love trying out new techniques and colour combinations and usually work with a wide variety of tools. There are no limits to my artistic imagination, whether with sponges, chalk, or spatulas.

I mostly find my inspiration in nature, and I incorporate impressions from my surroundings, especially with the colour design and the textures. But often, there is just a flash of inspiration, and then I start painting freely.

I had a special relationship with my most faithful companion and best friend, Nelly.

For more than 15 years, my large mixed breed dog accompanied me at every turn through life.

I dedicate my art, especially to her.
